Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient intake assessments and preliminary screenings via telehealth platforms
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision, ensuring accurate documentation of patient encounters
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans between specialists, labs, and pharmacies remotely
- Administer clinical procedures under physician guidance during virtual consultations
- Provide patient education on treatment protocols and medication management through secure messaging
- Monitor patient vitals remotely using IoT-enabled monitoring devices
- Comply with HIPAA regulations and hospital protocols for all digital communications
- Participate in monthly on-site competency training and team collaboration sessions
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care settings
- Proficiency with Epic EHR systems and telehealth platforms (Zoom for Healthcare, Doxy.me)
