Responsibilities
- Conduct Virtual Patient Intake: Gather patient history, symptoms, and insurance information via secure video or phone calls.
- Vital Signs & Assessments: Accurately record vital signs and report any abnormalities to the overseeing physician.
- Patient Education: Explain treatment plans, medication instructions, and lifestyle recommendations to patients in a clear, empathetic manner.
- Charting & Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) in real-time.
- Coordinate Appointments: Schedule follow-up appointments and manage patient reminders to ensure continuity of care.
- Administrative Support: Handle insurance verification and answer patient inquiries regarding services.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA, RMA, or MA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with computer systems, telehealth platforms (e.g., Doxy.me, Zoom), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on empathy and professionalism.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Location: Must reside in the United States with a stable high-speed internet connection.
