Responsibilities
- Accurately process and submit medical claims to insurance companies and government payers
- Verify patient eligibility, benefits, and coverage details before service delivery
- Resolve claim denials and payment discrepancies through effective appeals
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer-specific regulations
- Analyze denial trends and recommend process improvements
- Collaborate with providers to ensure accurate documentation and coding

Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credential preferred

- Strong analytical skills for identifying billing anomalies
- Exceptional attention to detail with error rates below 2%
- Experience with Ohio Medicaid and Medicare regulations
