Responsibilities
- Manage virtual patient intake via phone, email, and secure messaging systems
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with specialists across Oahu
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) using Epic systems
- Verify insurance eligibility and handle billing inquiries
- Assist with telehealth platform troubleshooting for patient appointments
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all patient communications
- Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize patient flow
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years medical reception or administrative healthcare experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance protocols
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced virtual environment
- High-speed internet and quiet home workspace required
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
