Responsibilities
- Verify prescription accuracy and completeness through digital systems
- Prepare and dispense medications following state and federal regulations
- Assist pharmacists with inventory management and order processing
- Provide telephonic and digital patient consultations on medication usage
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve prescription discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy security protocols
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience (retail or hospital preferred)
- Proficiency with pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Excellent communication skills for remote patient interactions
- Ability to work independently in a home office environment
