Responsibilities
- Accurately process and dispense prescription medications remotely using digital systems
- Verify patient information and insurance details through secure telehealth portals
- Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure medication safety and compliance
- Provide exceptional patient education via virtual consultations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate with local pharmacies for prescription transfers and fulfillment
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Hawaii Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 2 years retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
- Exceptional communication skills for remote patient interactions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication processing
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams
- Basic knowledge of HIPAA compliance and telehealth regulations
- High-speed internet and dedicated home workspace required
