Responsibilities
- Accurately process and verify prescription orders through our secure digital platform
- Manage inventory systems and coordinate medication shipments to local Buffalo facilities
- Provide remote patient counseling on medication usage and side effects
- Collaborate with pharmacists to resolve prescription discrepancies
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant electronic health records
- Support in-person pharmacy operations at our Buffalo location (2 days/month)
- Participate in continuous training for new medications and technologies
Qualifications
- Active NY Pharmacy Technician license
- 1+ years of pharmacy experience (remote preferred)
- Proficient with pharmacy software (QS1, Omnicell, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for virtual patient interactions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High-speed internet and dedicated home workspace
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
