Responsibilities
- Process and verify prescription orders through our digital pharmacy platform
- Provide remote medication counseling to patients via telehealth channels
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate medication dispensing
- Maintain precise electronic health records and inventory databases
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all digital communications and transactions
- Assist in resolving insurance and billing inquiries remotely
- Train on new pharmacy software and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software (e.g., Omnicell, QS1)
- Strong telehealth communication skills and digital literacy
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Basic knowledge of compounding procedures and sterile techniques
- Valid US work authorization and reliable internet connection
