Responsibilities
- Accurately process and verify prescription orders through our digital pharmacy platform
- Manage medication inventory and coordinate with suppliers to prevent shortages
- Provide exceptional remote customer service to patients regarding medication inquiries
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance for all patient data and interactions
- Collaborate with pharmacists on complex medication therapy management
- Document all dispensing activities and regulatory compliance records
- Train on new telehealth pharmacy technologies and protocols
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience (retail or hospital)
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Exceptional written communication skills for remote patient interactions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Basic understanding of sterile compounding procedures
