Responsibilities
- Perform accurate blood collections via venipuncture and capillary draws
- Process and label specimens following strict protocols
- Enter patient data and maintain electronic health records
- Provide virtual patient education on pre-test preparations
- Collaborate with lab teams for quality assurance
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all digital interactions
- Manage inventory of remote collection supplies
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NHA, or equivalent)
- 2+ years of clinical phlebotomy experience
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and EHR systems
- Excellent written communication skills for patient interactions
- Valid North Carolina phlebotomy license
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
