Responsibilities
- Coordinate virtual specimen collection logistics with patients across Maricopa County
- Perform quality assurance checks on remote collection kits and equipment
- Provide telephonic guidance to patients during specimen collection procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and HIPAA-compliant documentation
- Collaborate with lab technicians to resolve collection discrepancies
- Train patients on proper specimen handling and transportation protocols
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP or equivalent)
- 2+ years of clinical phlebotomy experience
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic medical records
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with home collection kit assembly and inventory management
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
