Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments via phone, video, and secure messaging to determine acuity levels and urgency.
- Educate patients on self-care management plans, medication adherence, and appropriate home remedies.
- Document all patient interactions accurately and in compliance with HIPAA regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to facilitate appropriate referrals and specialist consults.
- Manage high call volumes efficiently while maintaining a high standard of patient empathy and professionalism.
- Stay updated on clinical guidelines and best practices for remote nursing and triage protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with 1+ years in a triage or telehealth setting preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to de-escalate tense situations calmly and effectively.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities in fast-paced environments.
