Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone and video triage assessments using EHR systems to determine patient urgency
- Provide evidence-based clinical guidance and health education to patients across diverse demographics
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate care plans for acute and chronic conditions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Handle high-volume call centers during peak hours while maintaining exceptional service quality
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and protocol development
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California with minimum 3 years clinical experience
- Current BLS certification and ACLS preferred
- Proven triage experience in emergency, urgent care, or telehealth settings
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Mastery of EHR systems (Epic/Cerner) and telehealth platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with cultural competence
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
