Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient calls using evidence-based triage protocols
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment (EKG monitors, vital sign trackers, etc.) for accurate patient evaluation
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to determine appropriate care pathways
- Document patient encounters in our digital health record system
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients and families during high-stress situations
- Maintain equipment calibration and quality assurance standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania with 3+ years triage experience
- BLS/ACLS certification with current credentials
- Proficiency in telehealth triage platforms and medical equipment
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with Epic or similar EHR systems
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (MSN preferred)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
