Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone and virtual patient assessments using evidence-based triage protocols
- Provide accurate medical advice and prioritize care based on acuity levelsDocument clinical encounters precisely in Epic EHR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care pathways
- Educate patients on home care management and preventive health measures
- Manage high call volumes efficiently during peak hours and emergency situations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for telehealth services
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in emergency, urgent care, or telehealth
- BLS certification and current ACLS preferred
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative team dynamics
- High-speed home internet and dedicated workspace required
