Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough virtual patient assessments using our HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform
- Make critical triage decisions for emergency and non-emergency cases
- Collaborate with ER physicians to prioritize patient care needs
- Document detailed clinical notes using our EMR system
- Provide health education and guidance to patients and families
- Coordinate care transitions between facilities and specialists
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and CMS regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in ER or urgent care
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment skills in virtual environments
- Experience with telehealth platforms (e.g., Teladoc, Amwell)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency in EMR documentation systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
