Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive phone triage assessments for patients experiencing acute and chronic health concerns
- Utilize clinical judgment to determine appropriate level of care and urgency for patient needs
- Document patient interactions accurately in our HIPAA-compliant electronic health record system
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care plans
- Provide health education and resources to patients regarding treatment options
- Manage high-volume call queues while maintaining quality standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Nevada
- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience in emergency or urgent care
- BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
- Proficient in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work
