Your Role
You will be at the forefront of patient care, ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of medical attention while fostering a healing environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and social workers to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to critical situations and emergency events within the unit.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, infection control standards, and Joint Commission requirements.
Qualifications
- Current, valid, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New graduates with a nursing degree are encouraged to apply).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong focus on patient advocacy and safety.
