Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately to the healthcare team.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing clinical needs.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting patients.
