Responsibilities
- Conceptualize & Design: Develop engaging 2D animation sequences and motion graphics that align with brand guidelines and project goals.
- Storytelling: Create compelling narratives through movement, timing, and character performance.
- Technical Execution: Utilize industry-standard software (After Effects, Blender, Procreate) to produce high-fidelity renders and final assets.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Art Directors, Developers) to ensure assets are optimized for various platforms and resolutions.
- Iterative Feedback: Incorporate client and stakeholder feedback into revisions, maintaining a high standard of quality throughout the production pipeline.
- Asset Management: Organize and maintain project libraries, ensuring efficient workflow and asset reuse.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation, motion graphics, or a related design field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Blender or Maya.
- Portfolio: A robust, updated portfolio demonstrating a strong sense of timing, spacing, and visual storytelling.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail with the ability to refine animations to perfection.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating design decisions effectively.
