Responsibilities
- Define the Technical Roadmap: Lead the strategic planning and execution of our AI architecture, specifically focusing on innovations relevant to the 2026 landscape.
- Model Development & Optimization: Design and deploy large-scale machine learning models, optimizing for inference speed, memory efficiency, and cost reduction.
- System Architecture: Build fault-tolerant, distributed systems capable of handling high-volume, real-time data streams and complex neural network computations.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Research & Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve by integrating cutting-edge research (e.g., Transformers, Diffusion Models) into production environments.
- Mentorship: Foster a culture of technical excellence by mentoring junior engineers and conducting code reviews.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML architecture.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Deep understanding of GPU computing (CUDA) and distributed computing frameworks.
- System Design: Proven track record of designing scalable systems (microservices, Kubernetes, cloud-native architecture).
- Problem Solving: Ability to debug complex, low-level system issues and optimize performance bottlenecks.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
