Responsibilities
- Design, train, and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning models, including LLMs and generative AI architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Product, Engineering) to define AI strategy and product requirements.
- Optimize existing models for speed, accuracy, and efficiency, reducing inference costs by 30% or more.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Establish and enforce best practices for MLOps, data governance, and ethical AI usage.
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and performance analysis to validate model improvements.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with a strong portfolio of deployed models.
- Expert proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
