Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including meal preparation, medication reminders, and personal hygiene
- Engage clients in stimulating activities including conversation, light exercise, and companionship
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care coordinators
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Maintain detailed care logs and client preferences
- Implement specialized care plans for clients with dementia or mobility challenges
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or certification
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Passionate about senior care with strong interpersonal skills
- Background check clearance required
- Fluency in English (Spanish speakers encouraged to apply)
