Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs per care plans
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain safe home environments
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Document care activities and report health changes to supervisors
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate client care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- TN state nursing assistant certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (training provided)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and assist transfers
- Compassionate demeanor with patience for elderly care needs
