Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe walking support to prevent falls.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor daily health status.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and social activities.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce isolation and improve mental well-being.
- Document daily activities and changes in client condition accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- CNA, HHA, or CMA certification is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Valid Ohio driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
