Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation and recreational activities
- Maintain detailed care records and report client progress
- Implement specialized care plans for clients with chronic conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and compassion for elderly clients
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
