Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to seniors
- Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meal prep)
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Maintain detailed care logs and client reports
- Follow care plans and communicate with family members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate personality with patience for seniors
- Basic first aid/C certification (provided if needed)
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Must be available to start within 48 hours
