Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care including bathing, dressing, medication management, and meal preparation
- Assist with mobility support and transportation to medical appointments
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care team
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and social companionship
- Maintain detailed care logs and update care plans
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals
- Ensure safe and clean home environment for clients
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid California driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear TB test and background check
- Compassionate demeanor with patience for elderly care
- Strong communication skills in English (Spanish a plus)
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
