Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends relevant to 2026+ landscapes

- Design and facilitate innovation workshops using futures thinking methodologies (e.g., scenario planning, Delphi techniques)
- Produce high-impact trend reports and predictive models for product development and market positioning
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate foresight insights into long-term innovation pipelines
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Represent the organization at premier future-focused conferences and symposiums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record of translating complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures research or innovation strategy
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization and forecasting tools
- Experience working with emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
