Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ scenarios across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Translate complex future projections into executive-ready briefings and product roadmaps
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and investment teams
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global forums
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Quantify future market opportunities using predictive modeling and scenario planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in foresight or technology journals
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP, Delphi methods)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-shaping initiatives
- Ability to synthesize disparate data points into coherent future narratives
