Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for C-suite decision-making
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, and quantum computing breakthroughs
- Present future-state insights to stakeholders through compelling executive briefings and visualizations
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market viability
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, speaking engagements, and industry reports
- Mentor junior futurists and build a world-class foresight capability
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record in trend analysis and scenario planning for 5+ year horizons
- Expertise in technology forecasting (AI, quantum, biotech) and socio-economic modeling
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CSF, APF) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future strategies
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives
