Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and disruption mapping
- Translate future insights into actionable innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future thinking into product development cycles
- Author thought leadership reports and present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Build and maintain external partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Quantify future market opportunities and competitive threats using predictive analytics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial innovation pipelines
- Expertise in foresight methodologies including Delphi technique, weak signal detection, and scenario planning
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives in tech or Fortune 500 environments
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (portfolio required)
