Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, societal, and market domains
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps using scenario planning and forecasting models
- Facilitate innovation workshops with executive teams to translate foresight into strategy
- Establish KPIs for emerging technology adoption and innovation ROI
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Author thought leadership publications and present at industry conferences
- Champion ethical frameworks for responsible innovation and exponential technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercial products/services
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities
- Published work in futurism or innovation strategy (papers/books)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar)
