Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026+
- Develop and maintain the company's 5-year innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Translate foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineering, design, and leadership teams
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive stakeholders
- Build and manage a network of external futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and speak at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurism roles with demonstrable impact on product roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Proven track record of translating complex signals into business-critical strategies
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS, or PhD preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-suite and technical teams
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, books, or keynotes)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced tech environments
