Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive innovation roadmap aligned with organizational vision and emerging paradigms
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to integrate foresight insights into product development and strategic planning
- Build and manage an ecosystem of external innovation partners, academic institutions, and thought leaders
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making
- Champion a culture of experimentation and rapid prototyping for emerging concepts
- Quantify potential market impacts and ROI for innovation initiatives through advanced modeling
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Technology, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, futurism, or technology consulting with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable tech
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., APF, CFIP) highly desirable
