Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, geopolitics, and socio-economic domains
- Develop and maintain comprehensive future scenario models for 2026+ strategic planning
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and innovation pipelines
- Present complex future insights through compelling narratives and visual storytelling
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry experts
- Drive thought leadership through white papers, conferences, and published research
- Mentor junior strategists and establish best practices in futures methodology
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend mapping, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional data visualization and narrative communication skills
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating impact of foresight work on organizational strategy
