As a cornerstone of our Future Insights division, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives across Fortune 500 companies to identify paradigm shifts, quantify market opportunities, and design actionable strategies. Your work will directly shape multi-year innovation agendas in sectors ranging from AI ethics to quantum computing applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based future scenario models predicting technological, economic, and societal trends through 2030
- Lead high-stakes strategy workshops with executive teams to translate foresight into competitive advantages
- Produce trend reports and innovation roadmaps for clients in AI, biotech, and sustainable infrastructure
- Build and maintain a proprietary foresight database using machine learning and human intelligence
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global innovation forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior futurists and establish best practices in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing actionable future scenarios for Fortune 500 clients
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to visualize complex future states
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight journals or industry publications
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
