Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic vision framework, identifying emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence) with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' workshops to prototype next-generation business models and user experiences
- Conduct horizon-scanning research using predictive analytics and scenario planning methodologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with compelling data visualizations and impact projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation ecosystems to accelerate R&D pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote speeches at global tech summits
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts while fostering a culture of radical innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with proven research publications
- Mastery of horizon scanning tools (Delphi method, STEEP analysis) and predictive modeling frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5-10 year strategic implementations in tech or adjacent industries
- Expertise in converging technologies (AI, IoT, quantum, synthetic biology) and their socioeconomic implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into executive narratives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
- Experience leading cross-continental teams in matrix organizations
