Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Develop scenario-based forecasts for 2026+ market landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into business strategies
- Author thought leadership reports and whitepapers for executive audiences
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Represent the company at global tech conferences and industry forums
- Mentor junior futurists and researchers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, consulting, or futurist roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology, or related field
- Proven track record of publishing trend forecasts and strategic analyses
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Experience with data visualization tools and predictive analytics
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects or publications
