- Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve coding discrepancies and documentation gaps
- Generate monthly performance reports for departmental KPI optimization
- Mentor junior billing staff on best practices and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with 2+ years in a leadership role
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent credential required
- Expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Advanced proficiency in Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR platforms
- Demonstrated success in reducing claim denial rates below 5%
