Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately with meticulous attention to safety protocols
- Manage prescription verification and insurance processing workflows
- Maintain sterile compounding environments for IV medications
- Train and mentor junior pharmacy staff on best practices
- Coordinate inventory management and ordering systems
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions
- Collaborate with pharmacists on clinical initiatives
Qualifications
- Active PTCB certification required
- Minimum 2 years retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
- Strong knowledge of NC pharmacy regulations
- CPR certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume environments
