Responsibilities
- Optimize reimbursement cycles through accurate CPT/HCPCS and ICD-10 coding
- Resolve complex claim denials with payers and conduct appeals
- Ensure HIPAA/FDA compliance in billing documentation
- Analyze A/R reports and implement reduction strategies
- Train junior billers on best practices and software tools
- Collaborate with clinical departments for charge capture accuracy
Qualifications
- 5+ years medical billing experience in outpatient/hospital settings
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials
- Expertise in Epic EMR and RCM systems
- Advanced knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations
- Proven track record in reducing denial rates by 30%+
- Bachelor's degree in Health Administration or related field
