- Accurately code and bill complex medical procedures using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS systems
- Resolve claim denials and appeals with 95% first-pass resolution rate
- Conduct insurance eligibility verification for 150+ daily patients
- Analyze revenue cycle metrics to identify optimization opportunities
- Train junior billers on compliance protocols and best practices
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure documentation accuracy
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial insurance payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials required
- Expertise in Epic EMR and NextGen billing systems
- Proven track record of reducing AR days by 30%+
- Advanced knowledge of Minnesota Medicaid and Medicare regulations
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and SQL
