Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify orders
- Manage inventory control and medication ordering systems
- Counsel patients on medication usage and OTC products
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Operate pharmacy software (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
- Collaborate with pharmacists on clinical services
- Train new pharmacy technicians
Qualifications
- Active NC Pharmacy Technician license required
- 2+ years retail pharmacy experience
- CPhT certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Proficient with pharmacy technology systems
- Background check and drug screening required
