- Accurately dispense and verify medications with 100% precision
- Manage prescription processing workflow using advanced pharmacy systems
- Provide exceptional patient counseling on medication usage and side effects
- Maintain strict inventory control and ordering protocols
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and regulatory adherence
- Train and mentor junior pharmacy technicians
- Collaborate with pharmacists on clinical initiatives
Qualifications
- Active NC Pharmacy Technician license required
- Minimum 2 years of hospital or retail pharmacy experience
- CPhT certification preferred
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
