Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments using evidence-based triage protocols
- Make critical decisions on patient prioritization in emergency settings
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records
- Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Ohio (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years ED or urgent care experience
- ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN with 5+ years experience considered)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
