Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize cases using ESI protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to develop accurate care plans
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients via phone and telehealth
- Maintain detailed electronic health records with 100% accuracy
- Train junior triage staff on emergency protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Manage high-pressure situations with exceptional composure
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Minimum 3 years ER/urgent care experience
- TAS or ESI triage certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Experience with Epic EMR systems
- Strong ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
