Responsibilities
- Prioritize and assess patients using ESI protocols in fast-paced urgent care settings
- Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans for complex cases
- Maintain precise electronic medical records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Train junior triage staff on clinical protocols and emergency procedures
- Implement quality improvement initiatives for patient flow and safety
- Coordinate with specialists and ancillary departments for seamless care transitions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas with minimum 3 years triage experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required; TNCC or ENPC preferred
- Proficiency in Epic or EHR systems with strong documentation skills
- Expertise in rapid assessment and critical decision-making
- Spanish fluency required (bilingual preferred)
- BSN or higher degree in Nursing
