Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care team
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate medical logs
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and home organization
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Follow care plans and maintain confidentiality of client information
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or relevant certification
- Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and transfers
- Compassionate attitude and patience working with elderly or disabled individuals
