Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping and transportation to appointments
- Monitor vital signs and document care notes accurately
- Facilitate engaging social activities and cognitive stimulation
- Maintain safe, clean home environments for clients
- Communicate effectively with families and care teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and reliable transportation
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Strong empathy and patience working with elderly clients
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
